A view of the hills from our window. The hotel was ideally located for travelling through Bournemouth. Breakfast was excellent. 2 minutes away from Lower Gardens.

Very central for theatre/beach/shops. Staff very friendly. Lovely view over the gardens.
My room (No.5 was extremely warm) too warm for the summer time.

Excellent breakfast and lovely position overlooking Bournemouth gardens alsocentral for all amenities.
Ensuite very tiny and hardly any power from the shower. Room quite noisy at night positioned at back of hotel can hear all the night club revellers in the square (if you are a light sleeper)

Good price, central, clean, friendly staff. Good budget hotel for a night or two.
Place could do with a lick of paint and new carpets, although staff were friendly the place could do with some 'personal touch' eg plants etc

The location was very convenient for both the beach and the town centre
Very basic standard if decor. The beds were very uncomfortable. The shower was barely working. Bathroom facilities very tiny and basic

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the food was good and the visit enjoyable.
We are unlikely to visit Bournemouth again but we wouldn't want to stay in the same room which was too cramped for us - particularly the 'en- suite' facilities which have been shoe-horned into the room. Perhaps we should pay more in future?

Staff very helpful and friendly, food good, meals 100% served, even breakfast, which I liked, and the location is fantastic for town, park and beach.

Room was basic, carpet threadbare in places and rucked up. No room in the bathroom & you had to run around in the shower to get wet. The bed was ok for one night but could not sleep in it for a whole week and hard, however spotlessly clean. The cooked breakfast was awful and the intior of the hotel looked as though it could do with some tlc. However location and cost supeb,

We were made to feel so welcome from putting our first foot in the door. The location is absolutely brilliant for easy access to the shops, gardens, beach and bic for concerts. Although we had a very wet and windy weekend, we were able to enjoy a lot of time in Bournemouth and it was only a short drive to the New Forest. From our bedroom window we looked over the lower gardens and the room had tv and tea making facilities. We only booked for b and b, and breakfast was served by polite and friendly staff, and we will certainly be returning for further weekend breaks to attend more concerts at the bic.

Good location: close proximity to both the shops and the beach, both 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Having about 20 bags of laundry directly outside our bedroom door for the entire duration of our stay.
